This is the page where you get to find out all about me, my family, and my interests. To see this page as it was intended, you can get the font here.
For starters, I was born in Feb. 1958 in Wisconsin and I'm still living here, even though I hate the snow and cold weather.
In June 1975 I was married to a wonderful guy that my best friend, who was also his cousin, introduced me to.
We have a daughter, Kelly, who graduated from college in 1998 with a teaching degree in Elementary Education. If you'd like to find out more about her, please visit her site.
Our cat, Lucky, is very affectionate and loves to talk to me . . . and anyone else who will take the time to listen to him. If you'd like to see what my little sweetheart looks like and find out how he ended up being part of our family, please visit his page.
I came from a very close family. Besides my parents, I have an older brother and sister. My brother, John, is married and has four children and has eight grandchildren. My sister, Sylvia, has three children and has four grandchildren.
We all get together at my parents about once a month and we probably look like a small army invading the countryside! But we always have a good time when we're together.
I have quite a few interests, besides my family, and could probably go on for quite a while telling you about them, but I'll only tell you about my favorites.
I'm a big lover of fantasy, especially the unicorn and pegasus. I've been collecting them for about six years and have around 50 of them in the dining room and bedroom. Wolves and dolphins are also big favorites, although my collections of them are both small.
If you were to walk through my house, not to mention the homes of my family, you'd see quite a few cross stitch pictures which I've made through the years. You'd also be able to guess that my favorite color is blue. I think that there is something blue in just about every room.
I love reading, especially historical romances. They put a whole new light on history, that's for sure! I've even tried writing one and right now it's still a work in progree and probably will be for a long, long time.
Working on the computer making graphics is something I enjoy more than reading. At times it can be a real challege, but I love making my own web page backgrounds. I also create stationery for Outlook Express and have another website devoted to that. Anyone interested can vist Designs By Janet.
Well, I guess that's enough. I don't want to bore you too much! Thanks for sticking around and getting to know something about me.
